Not to my surprise… and I knew this would happen, major studios are now streaming current and new releases directly in your living room. No one wants to go to a movie theatre (social distancing) and quite honestly no one can because they are closed… thank you #coronavirus. Studios are now releasing their films for streaming. I wouldn’t include “The Invisible Man” on NetflixTonight if I didn’t think it was good. But not that good…. IMO, this “Invisible Man” uses too much technology and not enough sci-fi compared to the original… let me know your thoughts in the comments. It’s also $20 USD to rent…ew… (as of 3/21/20) so if you’ve saved some money not going out lately, I’d say it’s mildly worth it. I also love Elisabeth Moss!
Summary: The film follows Cecilia, who receives the news of her abusive ex-boyfriend’s suicide. She begins to re-build her life for the better. However, her sense of reality is put into question when she begins to suspect her deceased lover is not actually dead.
